A couple of hours in primo parking can turn into a nightmare if you fail to heed the warning signs around you, especially when you're an entitled cousin who's taking advantage of your relative's kindness. This driver begged to park for a few hours in front of their cousin's driveway, hoping to circumvent meter parking on the street; however, after leaving their car (and apparently their phone) unattended for 24 hours, this relative was at their limit of their mercy.
Needing to go to their shift at work, do groceries, and get along with their life, this homeowner absolutely needed the car… Desperately. So much so that after 24 hours of no contact and hundreds of ignored messages, this homeowner taught his cousin a lesson in vehicular etiquette.
Being from a city that's always impacted by parking drama, I learned at a very young age how precious it is to score a good parking spot. Never take advantage of free parking, always read the posted parking signs, and never burn a bridge with a local who's doing you a parking favor. That's how you'll end up at the tow lot with the deed to your car in one hand and a cashier's check for $500 buckaroonies in the other…
